Introduction to ECO 4 Grants
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme is a government-backed initiative focused on reducing carbon emissions and helping households improve their energy efficiency. The latest phase, ECO 4, is dedicated to supporting low-income households, vulnerable individuals, and those with specific health conditions.
ECO 4 provides grants to cover the cost of energy-saving measures, such as:
Boiler replacements or repairs
Loft, cavity wall, and solid wall insulation
Heating controls
Energy-efficient windows and doors
Households can qualify for an ECO 4 grant if they meet certain criteria, like receiving income-related benefits or being classified as vulnerable. The process involves checking eligibility, a free survey by a certified surveyor, and then installation of the energy-saving measures.
The goal of ECO 4 is to make homes warmer, more energy-efficient, and cheaper to heat, ultimately helping households save on energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint.
We do not have any open ECO 4 routes at this time. If you want us to contact you when an ECO 4 route opens up, please let us know.
